I'm sorry I haven't been able to comment but I am caught up now. WOO! I love your little sock monkey sock cup cozy!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your little instructional video at the end. i never knew how to do that and i always wanted to know.
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know I have a tutorial on how to hold the yarn using the "crochet" method on my blog. The direct link is here: http://purplephotokitty.com/CrochetConKnit.pdf
ReplyDeleteJust a note: you purl differently in this method because of how you hold your yarn on your hand.
I am a crocheter at heart so learning how to do continental knitting was awkward and it seems like you are having an issue with tension due to the size of your yarn. I never wrap the yarn around my pinkie but I may sometimes do it around my index finger (it seems to flow better for me that way). Hope this helps or at least gives you an option :D
